Comedian Reggie Watts Learns Flyers Fans Don’t Like Being Teased

Over at The AV Club, they’ve started a series of animated shorts called Stand Down where standup comics relate some of the worst experiences they’ve ever had on stage.

On this episode, musical comedian Reggie Watts relates a story of a gig he booked at the Theater of the Living Arts opening for the band Soulive.

Now, it’s never fun for a comic to open for a band but Reggie’s gig was coming on the heels of a big Flyers win so the crowd was even more rambunctious than it might otherwise have been. For some reason, Watts decided to bait the jacked up Flyers fans. Shockingly, his set didn’t go particularly well.
