Phillies Pay Their Respects to Reid Family

Before Sunday’s game against the Diamondbacks, the Phillies observed a moment of silence for the late Garrett Reid, son of Eagles coach Andy, who passed away early Sunday morning.

After the game, Phillies manager Charlie Manuel said he planned on reaching out to his football counterpart:

Manuel on Andy Reid: “I really feel for him. I’m going to send him a message that I’m sorry. I’ve always had a lot of respect for Andy.”
